1 kg Hito or Catfish
- In the market, have gills and internal organs removed, but don't remove the eggs. Wash it well.
- Rub with coarse salt till slimy coating is removed.
- Cut into 2 inch.
1 medium onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
3 slices ginger, 1 x 1 inch each
1/2 cup vinegar
1 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoon sugar
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
- Marinate the fish with onion, garlic, ginger, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar for 3 hours or whole night.
- Put the fish, marinated sauce, water and salt in a pot.
- Simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add coconut milk.
- When boiled then it's done.
